4R RTG currently supports 16 PhD students across IMB, JGU and UMC

Our students engage in dynamic interdisciplinary projects involving diverse model organisms, including the yeast species Schizosaccharomyces pombe and Saccharomyces cerevisiae, the nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans, the plant Arabidopsis thaliana, and human cells. Our collective focus centers around a shared point of interest: the intricate biology of R-loops.
