unraveling the intricate interplay between R-loop formation, alternative polyadenylation (APA), and genotoxic stress. Utilizing genetic models, we aim to elucidate how APA regulation influences key factors involved in R-loop dynamics, and vice versa. Through comprehensive profiling and manipulation studies, we seek to understand the regulatory and pathological effects of R-loops, as well as APA, on genome integrity, providing a foundation for further molecular and physiological exploration.
