“My masters work in a genome stability lab sparked a deeper interest in diverse mechanisms that contribute to genomic integrity. This led me to R-loops, a concept that felt like a compelling new lens to the same story.”

looks at the role of enhancer RNA (eRNA) in the formation of transcriptional condensates. Using single molecule assays and microscopy, we aim to explore different association modes of eRNA, including R loops. Overall, we are interested in how RNA adds another layer to gene regulation.
